Overview
The Quick Command Centre is a unified search and action hub that lets you find anything in Petboost and navigate to it instantly. Think of it as a spotlight search for your entire business.
Available on all pages within the business webapp
How to Access
Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) from any page in the business webapp to open the Quick Command Centre.
What You Can Search
The Quick Command Centre searches across multiple sources simultaneously:
Pets: find pets by name and jump directly to their profile
Services: search for services by name to view or edit them
Team members: find team members and navigate to their profile or schedule
Resources: locate rooms, vehicles, or equipment
Packages: search for package templates by name
Pages: jump to any page in the webapp (e.g., Calendar, Reports, Settings)
Toggle Sources
You can toggle individual search sources on or off to narrow your results. For example, if you are specifically looking for a pet, disable other sources so only pet results appear. This is useful when you have common names that match across different categories.
Recent Items
The Quick Command Centre remembers your recently viewed items. When you open it without typing a search query, you will see a list of items you accessed recently, letting you quickly return to what you were working on.
Deep Settings Access
Jump directly to specific settings pages without navigating through menus. The Quick Command Centre shows breadcrumb paths for settings results so you know exactly where you are going:
"Notifications" → Settings → Notifications
"Booking Settings" → Settings → Booking Settings
"Payment Settings" → Settings → Pricing & Payments
This is particularly useful for settings that are nested several levels deep.
Contextual Suggestions
When you open the Quick Command Centre, it shows contextual suggestions based on the page you are currently viewing. These are quick-access prompts that open Grazi AI with a pre-filled question relevant to your current context.
For example:
On the Calendar page: "What appointments do we have today?", "Any unconfirmed bookings?"
On the Reporting page: "How does this month compare to last month?"
On a Service detail page: "How is this service performing?"
Up to four contextual suggestions appear. These change based on the active page and, where applicable, the active tab within that page. If no page-specific suggestions apply, a set of general suggestions is shown.
Hand Off to Grazi AI
If your search does not match a specific item, you can type a natural language question and hand it off to Grazi AI for an answer. For example:
"How many appointments do I have tomorrow?"
"What is my most popular service?"
"How do I set up recurring appointments?"
The Quick Command Centre recognises when your input is a question rather than a search query and offers to pass it to Grazi AI.

Keyboard Navigation
The Quick Command Centre is fully keyboard-navigable:

You can search, navigate, and select without ever reaching for the mouse.
Tips
Use it for navigation: instead of clicking through menus, press Cmd+K and type where you want to go
Search by partial name: you do not need to type a full name; partial matches work
Use source toggles for precision: if you get too many results, toggle off irrelevant sources
Quick settings access: searching for a setting name is often faster than navigating through the Settings menu
Ask Grazi AI when stuck: if you cannot find what you need, type a question and let Grazi AI help
