Breed Browser is the full list of breeds Petboost recognises, with a search and a side panel you build a selection in. Its job is to let you pick a long list of breeds once and paste it into any breed field, instead of typing each one into a dropdown.
Open it from Breeds in the left navigation. An owner or admin can use it. A service performer can look but not change anything. A service supporter cannot open it.
Find a breed
Open Breeds.
Type into Search breeds by name....
The count above the grid tells you how many breeds matched. Each card shows the breed's photo, its name and the animal type it belongs to. If nothing matches, Petboost says so rather than showing an empty grid.
Use this on its own when you want to check how Petboost spells a breed before you set a rule on it, or to settle what a breed is called on a form.
Build a quick list
Select a breed card to add it. The card turns and the tick replaces the plus.
Keep going until you have every breed you want.
Select Quick List to open the panel.
Select Copy IDs.
The panel shows each breed you picked with its identifier underneath. Clear empties the list. Selecting a card a second time removes just that one.
Paste the list into a breed field
Breed fields in Petboost accept a pasted list. Paste what you copied and the field resolves each identifier into the named breed.
Open the screen with the breed field, such as Services > [Service] > Who Can Book.
Turn on the breed rule and open the breed selector.
Paste the copied list.
The selector accepts identifiers separated by commas, semicolons, line breaks or tabs, so a paste out of a spreadsheet column works as it stands.
When to use this
Use the quick list when a rule covers more than a handful of breeds and typing them one at a time is the slow part of the job. Restricting a service to a long list of small breeds is the usual case, or excluding a list of breeds your insurance does not cover.
For two or three breeds, skip this page and pick them straight from the field.
