Adding to Home Screen - iPhone & iPad (Safari)

Safari is the recommended browser for Apple devices.

Step 1: Open Petboost in Safari

  1. Open Safari (the default browser on your iPhone/iPad)

  2. Go to business.petboost.com

  3. Log in to your account

Step 2: Tap the Share Button

  1. Look for the Share button at the bottom of the screen (square with an arrow pointing up)

  2. Tap it to open the share menu

Step 3: Add to Home Screen

  1. Scroll down in the share menu

  2. Tap "Add to Home Screen"

  3. You can customise the name if you like (default: "Petboost Business")

  4. Tap "Add" in the top-right corner

Step 4: Done!

The Petboost icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it any time to launch Petboost in full-screen mode.

Adding to Home Screen - iPhone & iPad (Chrome)

If you prefer Chrome on iOS:

Step 1: Open Petboost in Chrome

  1. Open Chrome on your iPhone/iPad

  2. Go to business.petboost.com

  3. Log in to your account

Step 2: Open the Menu

  1. Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner

  2. This opens the Chrome menu

Step 3: Add to Home Screen

  1. Scroll down in the menu

  2. Tap "Add to Home Screen"

  3. Confirm the name and tap "Add"

Step 4: Done!

The Petboost icon will appear on your home screen.

Adding to Home Screen - Android (Chrome)

Chrome is the recommended browser for Android devices.

Step 1: Open Petboost in Chrome

  1. Open Chrome on your Android phone or tablet

  2. Go to business.petboost.com

  3. Log in to your account

Step 2: Open the Menu

  1. Tap the three dots (⋮) in the top-right corner

  2. This opens the Chrome menu

Step 3: Install or Add to Home Screen

  1. Look for "Install app" or "Add to Home screen" in the menu

  2. Tap it

  3. Confirm by tapping "Install" or "Add"

Step 4: Done!

The Petboost icon will appear on your home screen and in your app drawer.

Adding to Home Screen - Samsung Internet

For Samsung Galaxy devices using Samsung Internet browser:

Step 1: Open Petboost in Samsung Internet

  1. Open Samsung Internet (the purple planet icon)

  2. Go to business.petboost.com

  3. Log in to your account

Step 2: Open the Menu

  1. Tap the menu button (☰) at the bottom-right of the screen

  2. This opens the browser menu

Step 3: Add Page To

  1. Tap "Add page to"

  2. Select "Home screen" from the options

  3. Confirm the name and tap "Add"

Step 4: Done!

The Petboost icon will appear on your home screen.

Troubleshooting

"Add to Home Screen" Not Appearing

Safari (iOS):

  • Make sure you're using Safari, not Chrome or another browser

  • The option is in the share menu - scroll down to find it

Chrome (Android):

  • If you don't see "Install app", look for "Add to Home screen"

  • Make sure you've visited and logged into Petboost first

App Opens in Browser Instead of Full-Screen

This can happen if:

  • You're opening from a bookmark instead of the home screen icon

  • The app wasn't added correctly - try removing and re-adding

To fix:

  1. Remove the current shortcut/icon

  2. Follow the steps above to add it again

  3. Make sure to tap the new icon, not a bookmark

Content Not Loading

  • Check your internet connection

  • Pull down to refresh the page

  • Log out and log back in if issues persist

Icon Looks Wrong or Missing

If the Petboost icon doesn't appear correctly:

  1. Remove the home screen shortcut

  2. Clear your browser cache

  3. Visit business.petboost.com fresh

  4. Add to home screen again
