A complimentary extra is an add-on priced at $0. The pet owner sees it as Free, with the usual price struck through beside it when you have set one. They tap to add it. Nothing is pre-selected.

Set Service Type to Add-on.

0.If the extra normally has a price, enter that amount in Usual price. This field appears only when the type is Add-on and the price is
0.Publish the service for self-service booking.
The usual price is stored on the service. It does not change what is charged. The charge stays $0.
What the pet owner sees
If a complimentary extra applies to the selected pet:
It appears in Add Extras on the pets and services step. The pet owner taps to add it.
It appears again on Review and Terms so they can confirm or remove it.
After a visit, the report card teases the same extra above Book Again. That tease does not write anything. Booking again is what adds it.
If the extra is suburb-restricted or a mobile extra that needs an address, the pet owner can still add it after those details are on the account.
What a complimentary extra is not
A $0 package-credit line is a redemption, not a complimentary extra. It shows as Redeem 1x.
