Vacancy
The filters drawer includes Vacancy when the day has resources with a capacity.
The three options are:
Fully vacant - no visits on that resource today
Partially occupied - at least one visit, and still below capacity
Fully occupied - at or over capacity
A resource with no capacity set, or a capacity of 0, is treated as uncapped. It can be fully vacant or partially occupied. It is never fully occupied.
Vacancy is counted from the unfiltered day, so a search or status chip does not change whether a yard is full.
Open the Mission Control filters drawer
Under Vacancy, turn on the buckets you want
Mission Control keeps visits whose resource matches one of those buckets

Troubleshooting Filtering
Q: My filters aren't showing any results
A: Check if you've combined incompatible filters. For example:
Status: "Cancelled" + Quick Filter: "Arriving Soon" = No results (cancelled appointments aren't arriving)
Try clearing all filters and starting fresh
Q: Filter count badge shows a number but I don't see which filters are active
A: Open the filter dropdown or drawer to review all active selections. The count includes:
Status filters
Quick filters
Search (if active)
Attribute filters
Q: Weekday filters disappeared
A: Weekday filters only show in Week View. Switch from Day View to Week View to see them.
Q: Can't deselect the last weekday
A: At least one day must remain selected. This prevents an empty view. Select another day before deselecting the current one.
Q: Search isn't finding a pet I know exists
A: Check:
Pet is scheduled for the selected date/week
Spelling is correct (try partial name)
Pet hasn't been filtered out by other active filters
Clear all filters and try searching again
Q: Grouping changed unexpectedly
A: Some view modes have default groupings. When you switch view modes, grouping may reset to that view's default.
Q: How do I save my filter preferences?
A: Currently, filter preferences don't persist across sessions except for:
View mode selection
Grouping preference
Sort order
Search and quick filters reset each session.
