Overview
The Grooming History tab on a pet's profile displays a visual timeline of every completed grooming appointment, including the date, services performed, team member, session notes, and photos. Use it to see a pet's grooming journey at a glance and to spot patterns across seasons.
When This Tab Appears
The Grooming History tab appears on pet profiles when your business either signed up with pet grooming as a service category or has at least one service in the grooming category.
What the Timeline Shows
Each entry on the timeline represents a completed or paid grooming appointment for the pet. Entries are sorted newest first and displayed as cards along a vertical timeline.
Each card includes:
Date with day of the week
Grooming service names performed during that visit
Team member name and avatar (if available)
Session notes from the customer-visible business notes
Photos from the business note attachments, displayed as a thumbnail grid
Click any photo to open a lightbox with full-size browsing.
Seasonal Filtering
Filter the timeline by Australian meteorological season to compare grooming patterns across different times of year:
Season | Months |
Summer | December, January, February |
Autumn | March, April, May |
Winter | June, July, August |
Spring | September, October, November |
Pill buttons at the top of the timeline show All plus each season with a visit count. Seasons with no visits are hidden. Select a season to filter the timeline to just those visits.
This is useful for tracking seasonal coat changes, comparing grooming frequency across seasons, or reviewing how a pet's style has evolved over time.
Empty State
If the pet has no completed grooming appointments, the timeline shows: "No grooming history yet. Completed grooming appointments will appear as a timeline."
