Social Studio turns one of your services, packages, memberships or courses into a branded image you can post to Instagram or anywhere else. It reads the item's name, price and description from Petboost, and your logo, colours and font from your branding, then lets you change any of it before you export.
Petboost does not post the image for you. You download a PNG and upload it yourself.
Open it from Marketing & Sales > Social Studio, or from Settings > Branding, under Social Posts.
Make a post
Choose Service, Package, Membership or Course, then pick the item.
Choose a style: Spotlight is photo-forward, Bold is type-forward, Value stack is a list on a card.
Choose a format: Square (1080 x 1080), Landscape (1080 x 810) or Story (1080 x 1920).
Optional: edit the headline, the subtext and up to three value bullets.
Optional: upload a photo, then zoom and drag it to position it inside the frame.
Optional: change the colours, or set the logo to Horizontal, Square or None.
Select Download PNG.
On a computer the file downloads. On a phone or in the installed app, a preview opens and then the share sheet, so Save Image puts it in Photos.
Add a link for a story sticker
The Destination setting produces the link to put behind an Instagram story link sticker. Copy it, then paste it into the sticker when you post.
Destination | Where it sends people |
Booking page (this item) | Your booking page with this item already selected |
Booking page | Your booking page |
Showcase (this item) | Your showcase page, scrolled to this item |
Showcase page | Your showcase page |
Custom URL | Any address you type |
Links carry a via parameter, so visits arriving through them are marked as coming from the post.
Available times post
Available times post is the second generator. Pick a pet and a service, and Petboost asks the real booking engine which slots are open, then lays the days out as a branded post.
The pet is only an input. Petboost needs one to work out which services the booking rules allow and how long the appointment takes. The pet's name is never printed on the image, because the image is public and the pet's name belongs to the customer.
Go to Marketing & Sales > Marketing Hub and select Available times post.
Pick a pet, then a service.
Optional: change the headline and the eyebrow text, the layout, and the finish.
Select Download PNG.
Slots reflect your live availability at the moment you generate the image. Regenerate before you post if the calendar has moved since.
Visit post
A Visit post turns this appointment's report-card photos into a branded Instagram image, with the pet's name on the tile and a caption you copy under the post.
Petboost does not post the image for you. You download a PNG and upload it yourself.
The button is on the appointment, next to Birthday post, and in Mission Control quick actions. It stays hidden if every pet on the appointment is marked as deceased.
Open the appointment and select Visit post.
If more than one pet is on the visit, pick one pet or both names.
Select the report-card photos to include. Spotlight, Bold and Value stack use the first selected photo. Photo grid uses every selected photo.
Choose a style. The first three match Social Studio: Spotlight is photo-forward with a scalloped crop and a seal, Bold is type-forward with a round photo, and Value stack is a photo band on a card. Photo grid is the full-bleed layout. If Photo grid is selected and you have three or more photos, you can override the photo layout (Bento, 2×2 or 3×3).
Optional: select Add photo to upload more images onto the report card and into the post.
Turn on We have permission to share this pet. If you select Download PNG first, the dialog scrolls to that switch.
Select Download PNG for the format you are previewing, or Save all for Square, Landscape and Story together.
Select Copy caption, then paste it when you post. The caption includes the booking page and your business phone, not the owner's number.
If your terms include a photography clause, We have permission to share this pet is how you confirm that clause covers this post. Add or edit that clause in Policies & Paperwork.
Optional: open More options to switch the idea between Just groomed and First visit. First visit is selected when this is the pet's first completed visit. The tile uses your business colours and font. If those are not set, it uses slate neutrals.
Do not put the owner's name, street address or phone on the image. The suburb on the details line is your business suburb.
If an item is missing
The picker only lists items that exist in Petboost. To post about something you have not set up yet, create it first: services in Services, packages in Packages, membership plans in Memberships > Plans, courses in Course Templates.
