The Health Board lists people who started a booking and did not finish, then sorts the rest of your client base by how recently and how much each household books. Cards move between columns on their own as customers book or drop off.
Open it from Marketing & Sales > Health Board. Only users with the Owner Admin or Admin role can open it, because the board shows business-wide revenue and per-customer spend.
The board is not calculated until you ask for it. The first time you open it, select Open Health Board. Petboost then remembers that you have activated it and loads the board each time after.
What the board reads
The sales columns read unfinished profiles and abandoned bookings, including existing clients who started a booking while logged in. Each abandoned-booking card shows the booking-form step they reached and the services they chose.
The other columns read your appointments from the last 12 months, plus anything booked in the next 30 days. Spend figures and visit counts are bounded by that window, which is why the board labels them "last 12 months".
Archived pets and pets marked as deceased are left out.
The columns
The first three columns are the sales lanes. The last four are the health lanes.
Column | Who lands here |
Abandoned (New) | A guest started a booking with you and did not finish |
Abandoned (Existing) | A client who already has a profile started a booking and did not finish |
Unfinished Profiles | A guest started a profile and never began a booking |
Active & Healthy | Booking as usual, or has a booking on the calendar |
Spending Less | Still booking, but spending noticeably less than they were |
At Risk | Overdue against their own usual gap between visits |
Potentially Lost | Long overdue, or no visits at all in the window |
An existing client with an abandoned booking sits in Abandoned (Existing), not in a health column, until that booking is finished or cleared.
Abandoned-booking cards show the funnel step (for example Searched availability) and Booked for with the service names they chose. When a recording of the session was captured, the card's detail view also shows X-Ray this booking. See Watching an unfinished booking.
What moves a customer between health columns
Petboost works out each household's usual gap between visits from their own history, then measures them against that gap rather than against a single number for everyone. A weekly daycare dog and a twice-a-year groom are judged differently.
A customer moves to At Risk once they are 2.5 times their usual gap overdue, and to Potentially Lost at 5 times. At Risk never triggers earlier than 21 days overdue and Potentially Lost never earlier than 45 days, so a weekly customer is not flagged after one missed week.
If a household has too little history to work out a gap, Petboost falls back to 60 days for At Risk and 120 days for Potentially Lost.
A customer lands in Spending Less when their spend over the last 90 days is at least 30% below their spend over the 90 days before that. This needs at least two visits to calculate.
A booking on the calendar overrides the health columns: a household with an upcoming appointment sits in Active & Healthy no matter how long the gap since their last visit. An abandoned booking still overrides that and keeps them in Abandoned (Existing) until the draft is finished.
A household whose only visit was within the last 45 days, with nothing booked since, stays in Active & Healthy and is marked as not rebooked yet.
Each card in the three problem health columns carries a short reason, such as "usually monthly, last seen 94 days ago".
Email a whole column
Each column has an action that opens a bulk email addressed to every owner in it, with a subject already filled in.
Column | Subject |
Abandoned (New) | Finish your booking with us |
Abandoned (Existing) | You left a booking unfinished |
Unfinished Profiles | Finish setting up with us |
Active & Healthy | A note from our team |
Spending Less | We would love to see you again |
At Risk | We miss you and your pet |
Potentially Lost | It has been a while - come back and see us |
Petboost does not send these. The email opens in your own email client with the owners on BCC, for you to edit and send. Owners with no email address on file are left out.
Sending a column email needs the Owner Admin or Admin role.
Sort, filter and export
Sort the health columns by recoverable value, last visit, household spend or pet name. Recoverable value is what that household would normally spend in a month at their usual booking rate, so the sort puts the customers worth chasing first. The abandoned columns stay ordered by the most recent drop-off, and Unfinished Profiles is ordered by pet name.
Filter the board by animal type, by households with no card on file, or by high spenders. The search box matches pet names, owner names and the services on an abandoned booking.
Each column shows up to 40 cards. To see the rest, select the count at the top of the column to open the full list as a table.
To export the board as a CSV, select Export. This needs the Owner Admin or Admin role. The export includes the funnel stage and the services they were booking.
