Overview
Travel is the command centre for mobile and on-the-road pet businesses. It turns today's mobile appointments into a run you can view as a board, a list, or a map, then reorder and optimise the drive between stops.
Closed beta: Travel is in a closed beta. It is feature-gated on invited accounts only. It is not a general plan feature today.
Coming paid booster: Travel will ship as a paid booster add-on (same model as Communications Booster) once it leaves beta. Pricing is not published yet - do not assume it is free forever or included on every plan.
Want access? If you do not see Travel in the sidebar, or you want to join the beta, click Speak with the team.
Accessing Travel
Open Travel from the main sidebar
Or go to
https://business.petboost.com/travel
View modes
Use the segmented control at the top of Travel:
View | What it shows |
Run | Kanban-style columns for today's mobile stops (group and sort options live here) |
Run list | The same stops as a compact list |
Map | Pins for mobile appointments that have a street address, plus the route line when optimised |
Mobile services
Only services marked as mobile services appear as Travel stops.
In Travel, click Mobile services
Or go to
https://business.petboost.com/travel/mobile-servicesReview which services are flagged as mobile and open a service to change its mobile setting if needed
Magic Optimise
Magic Optimise sequences today's stops for a shorter drive (Mapbox optimisation). Open it from the Travel toolbar, set your start/end preferences if prompted, then apply the suggested order. You can still drag or reorder stops after optimising.
Logbook and run helpers
Travel includes run helpers such as a logbook export and today's-run cards in the sidebar. Use these for a printable or shareable summary of the day's stops and drive legs after you have an order you are happy with.
Tips
Stops need a street address on the appointment to appear on the map
Keep mobile services correctly tagged so the run does not mix venue and mobile bookings
Split very large days into two runs if Magic Optimise warns you are over the stop limit
